Robbery – 3300 block of Volta PL

Dear Members of the Georgetown University Community,
 
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is currently investigating a Robbery that occurred in the 3300 block area of Volta Place on Friday April 15, 2016 at approximately 3:30 p.m. There were three suspects described by the victims: The first suspect is a male approximately 5’7″, 150 lbs., and wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black mask; the second suspect was a female approximately 5’8, 180 lbs. wearing a black long sleeve shirt, dark colored shoes, a black mask and carrying a duffel bag; the third suspect was a female approximately 5’7″, 150 lbs., and wearing a maroon sweatshirt. The male pointed a handgun at the two victims and demanded personal items. All three suspects fled westbound on Volta Place and then headed southbound on 34th Street NW. 
 
The Georgetown University Police Department is requesting that anyone who has information regarding this or any other incident(s), or who noticed any suspects before or after the incident, to contact the Metropolitan Police Department Second District Station at 202-715-7300, or the Detectives Office at 202-730-1903, or the Command Information Center at 202-727-9099 immediately. They may also contact GUPD at 202- 687-4343.
